About this blog: its posts will be mostly about architecture in some way or another. It won’t necessarily include polished pieces, and even the polished ones might not be good. It’s more about experimenting, daring myself to show people things that I think might be good, after years of university, where the stakes are too high, so everything ends up reasonable.
About me: I studied architecture. Worked for a while as an architectural assistant. Wasn’t a fan of the absurd deadlines, which mean that the days were spent simply churning out another version of a formulaic project, rather than producing something that might genuinely be good. So instead of finishing my training as an architect, I shifted over into Architectural History, where I found a little more time to think. Now I just need to work out how to sell my thinking for rent money.
